About Marc
I have had a dual career in publishing and as a freelance photographer. In the latter, I produced work in political, social, and human interest subject areas during more than four and a half decades. My photography career began in Chicago in the mid-1970s, where I was a staff photographer at the headquarters of Borg-Warner Corporation (located at that time on Michigan Avenue).
In 1978, I relocated to New York City, where my photographs have been published in several thousand books at several higher education publishing companies, including Prentice-Hall. My public relations work appeared in local newspapers for government and corporate clients. Later, my photographs appeared in books published by Cambridge University Press, where I also worked as Rights and Permissions Manager.
My personal photographs involve architecture, cityscapes and nature, as well as portraits of models, actors, musicians and friends in my studio and on location.
